Mission statement

Our mission is to promote and develop the sport of surfing within our community in a positive way, by providing opportunities for our surfing community to compete, network, train and mostly have fun! Through monthly club days, coaching and financial and technical support for members wishing to develop their surfing, we aim to foster a strong sense of community and a place where anyone can feel welcome at whatever stage they are on their surfing journey. We also aim to promote good sportsmanship and etiquette among our members and the younger surfing community as well as encouraging kaitiakitanga of the amazing coastal environment that we share.
